Before starting Highland Ag Services, Courtney brought over 24 years of experience in ag retail, service, and management, along with 2 years of fertilizer consulting. His extensive background makes him a valuable asset to the team as they continue to serve local growers. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with his wife, Dee Ann, their two daughters, Jo Ann and Emma, and their two grandsons, Theodore and Ezra Lee.

Brandon Harvey
Marketing Manager
With over 10 years of experience in Ag Retail and 2 years in Ag Wholesale, Brandon brings a wealth of knowledge to Highland Ag Services. He is excited to leverage advanced technology to offer innovative services and work closely with local growers. Brandon is also passionate about helping drive new careers in agriculture. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and fishing. He is married to Lexi and is the proud father of three children—Brooks, Laynee, and Baker.

Austin Trusty
Operations Manager
With over 7 years of experience in the industry, including 5 years as a floater operator and 2 years in sales and management, Austin brings a diverse skill set to Highland Ag Services. He has a passion for the technology side of the business and is eager to learn all aspects to better serve the growers. Outside of work, Austin enjoys hunting and golfing with his wife, Bailey, and their son, Coen.

Tony Holm
Seed Manager
With over 6 years of experience as a floater operator, Tony brings a wealth of knowledge to Highland Ag Services. He is excited to work alongside great coworkers, strengthen relationships with local growers, and continue learning new technology in his role. Outside of work, Tony enjoys going on day road trips with his wife, Jen. He is the proud father of three children—Noah, Marissa, and Ethan—and has three stepchildren—Carson, Logan, and Mason.

Kacy Trusty
Warehouse Manager
With over 5 years of experience in yard operations, Kacy, also known as “Newt,” brings valuable knowledge to Highland Ag Services. He is excited to be part of a family-friendly company that prioritizes both its employees and providing quality service to local growers. Outside of work, Newt enjoys weightlifting and target shooting. He is married to Kiley and is a proud father to two daughters, Stella and Sophia.

Duke Schneider
Warehouse Manager
With over 20 years of experience in agriculture, including operations, sales, and management, Duke brings a wealth of knowledge to Highland Ag Services. He is excited to work with a team that values strong leadership and direction, and he looks forward to mentoring others to accomplish their goals. Outside of work, Duke enjoys trying local beers, eating chicken wings, and camping with his family in their travel trailer. He is married to Darci, and together they have three daughters—Abbie Kihle (husband Mitchell), Emma Schneider, and Josie Schneider—and one grandchild, Norah Kihle.

Amanda Baack
Office Manager, Brule
Amanda has been with Highland Farms for 3 years and previously worked as support staff at a counseling office for 6 years. She is excited to contribute to Highland Ag Services by providing valuable support and helping when needed. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at the beach and lake with her boyfriend, Brent, and their two daughters, Austyn and Brixlyn.

Rachel Mentzer
Office Manager, Sutherland
With over 6 years of experience in the service industry, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge in customer service to Highland Ag Services. She is excited to contribute to the company’s growth and build strong relationships with local growers. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys camping, kayaking, 4-wheeling, and taking family vacations with her husband, Chad, and their children, Karsyn and Trevin.

John Dolezal
Precision Applicator
John brings a unique blend of experience to Highland Ag Services, having served 13 years in the US Navy, followed by 12 years in farming and over 10 years as a floater operator. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, John is excited to operate the new See & Spray machine and contribute to the continued success of Highland Ag Services. Outside of work, John raises his own beef and enjoys shooting guns. He is married to Corinne and has two sons, Kevin and Jason, as well as two stepchildren, Jillie and Clint.

Jake Jehorek
Precision Applicator
With years of experience in logistics and a strong background in the agriculture industry, Jake is excited to contribute to the dynamic environment at Highland Ag Services. He looks forward to collaborating with the team to provide top-notch service to growers in the western part of the state. Outside of work, Jake enjoys mountain riding in his Jeep or side-by-side and spending time in the shop, turning wrenches on anything that needs to be fixed. Jake is married to Jill and has two stepchildren, Rachel and Riley.

Chase Johnson
Support Specialist
Chase brings a diverse background in the agriculture industry to his role at Highland Ag Services. With a passion for expanding his truck driving skills and knowledge, he is committed to contributing to Highland Ag Service’s success. Outside of work, Chase enjoys a variety of hobbies, including hunting, working on project cars, and spending time on the water with boating and fishing.

James Martin
Support Specialist
With 5 years of experience in the service industry and 2 years as an agriculture tender driver, James brings valuable skills to Highland Ag Services. He enjoys being part of the agricultural industry and is eager to operate one of the See & Spray machines to ensure growers have a successful season. Outside of work, James enjoys hunting, fishing, and helping with 4-H. He is married to Amanda and has five children—Sahara, Jasmine, Hunter, Haylee, and Chloe.

Chad Mentzer
Support Specialist
With 21 years of experience in retail and trucking, Chad brings a wealth of knowledge to Highland Ag Services. He is eager to expand his expertise and develop new skills within the agriculture industry. Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hunting, shooting, 4-wheeling, or camping with his wife, Rachel, and their two children, Trevin and Karsyn.

Ryan Rookstool
Precision Applicator
With over 8 years of farming experience, Ryan brings valuable industry knowledge to Highland Ag Services. He is excited to help fellow growers achieve success with their crops. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys hunting, shooting, and golfing with his wife, Kelsey, and their daughter, Olivia. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their son this summer.

With over 10 years of experience in the farming industry, Jake brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Highland Ag Services. He is passionate about collaborating with a talented team to help local growers maximize their operations through the latest technologies and efficient practices. Outside of work, Jake enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He and his fiancée, Sydney, are proud parents to two daughters, Saylor and Sutton.

Marcus Silos
Support Specialist
Marcus brings 3 years of retail and 4 years of farming knowledge to Highland Ag Services. With his knowledge, he is looking forward to growing with the company and the opportunities within the agriculture industry. Marcus’s hobbies and interests include watching baseball and football, watersports, and weightlifting. Marcus is married to Morgan and they have one daughter (Nala).

Nicolaas Zwart
Support Specialist
Nicolaas brings over 17 years of diverse experience to Highland Ag Services, with a strong background in the oil and fertilizer industries and truck driving. Nicolaas is looking forward to working alongside a team of highly experienced and motivated individuals and being a valuable asset to both the company and local growers, offering support and expertise wherever needed. Outside of work, Nicolaas enjoys golfing. He is the son of Louise de Lange and has two siblings, Abraham Zwart and Grace Smith.
